The ceiling of our Airbnb in Puerto Vallarta collapsed without warning. A massive section of the bedroom ceiling collapsed, smashing onto the bed in a cloud of debris. Huge slabs landed right on our pillows, shattering into countless pieces.
At first, we suspected a small earthquake, but the real culprit? A sneaky moisture buildup created a bubble, causing the ceiling to collapse.
