Come with us to the legendary Đông Ba Market in Huế, Vietnam — one of the most vibrant traditional markets in central Vietnam.
We got playfully ROASTED by two hilarious Vietnamese aunties who dished out funny insults as their ultimate sales move. Amid the chaos of haggling at Dong Ba Market, one of the ladies kept hitting us with “handsome man” and “Last price for you!” until we caved and bought from them.
We’re pretty sure they had a little crush on us… or maybe they’re just master salespeople! This was one of the most memorable (and laugh-out-loud) market experiences we’ve had on our nomadic journey in Vietnam.
